This looks to be an all time low price.

Good price. When I was looking for a monitor it was between this and the Garmin R10. I ultimately decided on the Garmin because of the fantastic simulator mode that this one lacks. For those who don't know, you basically have on your phone or iPad a full on golf simulator with the Garmin where you can very easily see ball flight and other metrics. However, if you are just looking for accurate data, this will do the job well, I was more looking for a replacement for going to the driving range, so I bought the Garmin and a net.

The description for this Rapsodo says it can be used indoors but you're saying it only shows stays when used indoors and does not show shot tracker or course?

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the Garmin will give you a simulator like experience, that is what I opted for.

Had it in the cart and was about to buy but price jumped up to $299. I know it's only $19 difference but made me reconsider and decide I don't need it. 😜

Are all golfers iphone users? Why only make it for iPhone specific?

I own the Rapsodo, it tracks both indoors and outdoors stats. It also videos each swing so you can review it after. But u are right, shot tracer is only available when you swing outdoors, it will trace where the balls flight. Indoors it won't trace but it will give you the statistic if you hit it straight, left, right or right fade, left drawer stuff like that.

I love it, very useful if you're somewhat serious about improving. If you're a weekend golfer that plays like 2 or 3 times a month I'd probably skip it. But if you want to improve this certainly helps.

I'm sure it's because there are less variations of iPhones (hardware/OS) so it's a lot easier to write code when 5 years of iPhones don't change much.

Good deal but I think this is the new normal price with the MLM2Pro coming out.

Haven't tried this one but I have a garmin r10 and feel it was totally worth the $500 or so when it was on SD a few months ago. Golf monitor technology has progressed so much you no longer need to spend $3k to get accurate data.

If you're on the fence on whether to get a launch monitor I will say the initial price stings a bit, but feels so worth it when you have a session of 50 drives and visually see what you're doing. I was able to add 30 yards after my 2nd session of reviewing the data and understanding what a good drive looks like. Club head speed, spin rate, attack angle, smash factor, etc all can give you clues as to why your drives went the way they did, or what you need to work on.

Have a session > analyze the data > watch YouTube videos on how to improve a specific metric > repeat
