These suck. My older when he was 1 and now youngest who is 1 pull them out with ease. Look for the ones with the sliding pull tab, impossible for kids to yank them out.

A lot of the newer homes don't need this. They have it built in where you need even pressure to push the plug all the way in. Makes it much more harder or impossible to stick a hanger in for example

My parents had the metal ones when I was a kid. They actually work really good because when my brother tried to mess with the outlet with the metal ones in, he died. The rest of us kids learned that our parents were cannibals that day. Anyways the toothbrushes worked well.

Thanks OP. Plan to use these in power surge protectors (outlets face upward) to prevent dust build-up inside the outlet. I think it'll be perfect for that application.

Pro tip when you're traveling and the place you're staying doesn't have TR (tamper resistant) plugs. Clear packing tape. Really hard for kid to peel off and difficult to penetrate. Other tape will work too but clear tape is best IMO.
