If you have a room where you don't want to place additional PC/Smart TV/XBOX Game console, this monitor will be a cheap solution. You can remote in your PC with build-in Remote Desktop APP, it works as any other Samsung Smart TV and it also has XBOX app which you allow to play Cloud gaming with minimal lag.
This is 1080P, 60HZ refresh rate and 4ms respond time. If you are looking for high quality monitor/TV, this is not the one.

LG is IPS/300 nits and Samsung is VA/250 nits.
Guessing that HDR on the Samsung is mostly pointless?
