Price is great until you change it to any one of the nicer colors or add suspension or other features. The build I want easily gets to 2k

I'd never buy a bike with that style of seat without sitting on it first. They can be great or terrible and since the only thing you can adjust is the handle bars you're basically stuck with that one position. It's too much money for a crap shoot on comfort.

I'm glad they're made in the USA, good luck to them.

I agree. I really like that the tan seat/grip and tan wheel options are no charge options. You can save a little further from the 1399 by going with the no cost frame color like white and just adding the color you want only on the wheel guard or fork for $79 or $99. Personally i like white frame and fork with niagra wheel cover and tan seats and wheels, with black everything else.

I have never owned an electric bike before. If using this for commuting purpose, how do oyu keep it from getting stolen? Lock it up like a regular bike?

They're charging $300 for paint... I don't think this is adding any premium quality or features...

No, they are charging for paint that's not red, white or black. No other e-bike has that option but it's not required
