I currently own this for two years and so far it's been good. I'm a homeowner and I use this for cleaning my driveway and pathway as well as cleaning algae off of bricks and roof. But the main reason I use it is for pressure washing my car.

2000 is best for light duty work and car washing. Anything more and you might as well get gas or a professional to do it. This might take a little longer but worth the $140 I spent. It does come with an Uber flex 25 ft hose worth $30 better than the ones that Ryobi electrics come with.

The one drawback is it is a little clunky so not the best if you don't tidy up the wires when moving it around but other than that warranty covers defects for machines not replaceable parts like the nozzle tips. I tried to call in and they said I have to buy a new pack. Overall a decent purchase and at $120 it's better than anything else you can buy at 2000 psi

Thank you for the explanation and all the others that replied. I'm now curious to try the process, what's a good foam canon and will it matter my only PW is a 2900 gas one?
Here's a good video reviewing various foam cannons and why one design is better than another: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6IjDKTHZ-0

One of the best is this one but it's pretty expensive: https://www.amazon.com/MJJC-Cannon-Connect-Pressure-QRFLPRO-2/dp/B09Y5BWK7R/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=mjjc... [amazon.com]

Personally I went with this cheaper foam cannon due to it's all brass connections on both the sprayer as well as the bottle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

And then swapped out the orifice for a 1.1mm using this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Is this good enough to prep a wood deck for paint?
Even a 3000 PSI is not strong enough for total removal of colored stain or paint removal. You are stuck with sanding ;-(. I have had great success using my electric PW to remove years of dirt & grey matter from really bad looking unstained cedar fences They look almost new -then treat with 1/2 turpentine and 1/2 Boiled linseed oil.

Is this available in store or online only? If available in store is this the same price, asking as Costco tends to price the online fulfilled items higher.

i think it is online only deal, as I don't see it in my local Costco. (well my local Costco don't even carry this product)

It's crap. Do not buy! We bought this last fall and the soap suction stopped working at the first use. Returned it for another one. Used it only 3 times until power stopped working.

You could always just not use the on board soap dispenser and instead use a third party foam cannon.

As I mentioned previously foam cannons are preferential vs on-board soap dispensers as they:
1. Are at the end of the hose line so you don't need to worry about getting residual soap in your line during your rinses and/or creating clogs
2. Are generally made of better materials and can easily be replaced/upgraded
3. Create the ability to create and dispense thick soap foam (think shaving cream consistancy) with much less soap used and it works much better in this form to break down dirt debris on your car/tire/grill

I forgot....

Don't forget to also purchase a quick connect so you can quickly remove the foam cannon between your hose and your wand when your rinsing/storing it.

This is what I purchased for my foam cannon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

I just bought the Sooprinse foam cannon for 21 bucks and it works fine. Wide mouth bottle, able to be twisted horizontal or vertical on the nozzle, weighted pickup hose, clear bottle so you can see what you are doing
Thanks for mentioning this. Just saw a video review on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dz-f2hJcQL8

Couple things I noted:
Pros:
1. Clear bottle
2. Good measurement delineations noted on the bottle
3. Soap feeding tube weight noted on the inside
4. Wide mouth for easy fill
5. Good balance (won't fall over)

Cons:
1. Leaks if turned upside down
2. Needs an orifice change out (I think it comes with a 1.25mm and needs to be upgraded to a 1.1mm)
3. Soap foam produced is a bit runny but way better than the crappy foam cannon his PW came with

BTW, it looks like the PW used in this video review was the Harbor Freight Portland 1750 PW that I purchased and then upgraded (mentioned earlier in this thread) so it's good to see other car wash video bloggers are using this model as well.

How does this compare? https://www.greenworksoutlet.com/...e-cleaner/ [greenworksoutlet.com]
Seems like it has better specs to me but defer to the experts out there. They have another 2300 PSI for $95 that uses the TruBrushless motor.
https://www.greenworksoutlet.com/...certified/

My concern is the description indicates a different unit from the listing and the one you posted doesn't have any additional details other than what's in the pictures. Has anyone purchased from this site before? Is it run by Greenworks?

Think that might be a scam site. Note that there's no number for you to call on the contact us page.

Don't all wand/gun ends have a quick connect for tips anyway? Mine does and then the foam cannon is just like another "tip" that can connect there

Thanks I will check it out

I only used it once at this point but not sure why/when one needs to turn the foam cannon upside down. On the orifice, I am not sure because several of the comments for this product claimed it already had a 1.1 orifice, but I agree while I got lots of foam, it wasn't "shaving cream" and I didn't know if that is because I needed to use more soap in the mix or whether it was the orifice. I am using Superior Products Cherry Foam which is a very concentrated soap though so it may be the foam cannon or the orifice. I guess I could buy a 1.1 orifice and try it

Another question for those who know pressure washers....

1) is there any adjustment to increase/maximize water flow at the pump? I see on mine that there are like 3 allen key holes all together at the top of the pump...didn't know if that is something where you can adjust the water flow to more "open" or something

2) on mine and I assume others, the soap dispenser has a plastic hose that connects to a nipple AFTER the pump, basically right at the outflow where the high pressure hose then hooks up. Is that always "drawing in" some air there that is weakening the water flow itself? It doesn't seem like I have a way to shut off that connection

thanks
