Glass or no go.
$5 per for some plastic & maybe a little rubber?!? Yeah, I don't think so. There's some of that "corporate greed" on display here. I'll stick to plastic baggies and the used takeout containers I've already got thx.
The glass version of the brilliance set is amazing. Best Tupperware I've used. This is definitely not comparable, especially at this price.

I was tempted until I read the reviews.
A few reviews of these cracking, lots more than the normal shaped Brilliance.
Also, the divider doesn't go all the way up, so you'll get crossed smells and tastes.
Two separate containers seem to make more sense.

Come to think of it.. Do they even make divider containers that go all the way up?

Most elementary and high schools don't allow glass.

Got this last time and as other's mentioned, glass is the way to go.

Good point about having plastic ones for schools thought.

glass is very nice, and these still stack so none of the awkwardness of the round pyrex. But glass is SO HEAVY. I much prefer the plastic for taking in my lunch.

These are good if you keep them level, but i will bring two separate containers in a lot even if i just want to heat both foods to different temperatures.

100% agree. I use plastic if it's leaving the house, but the glass version of this is worth every penny.

I have both the glass and the plastic regular containers in various sizes. When the plastic ones started to crack, I contacted Rubbermaid. I was told the Use and Care instructions clearly state "no cooking food" in the plastic containers - the definition of "cooking food" according to Rubbermaid is "heating any food for longer than 30 seconds". What can you reheat in 30 seconds? This makes the plastic only useful for cold or room temp foods - don't reheat or they WILL crack. Love the glass ones!
