$5 per for some plastic & maybe a little rubber?!? Yeah, I don't think so. There's some of that "corporate greed" on display here. I'll stick to plastic baggies and the used takeout containers I've already got thx.

The glass version of the brilliance set is amazing. Best Tupperware I've used. This is definitely not comparable, especially at this price.

I didn't even know they had glass versions of the Brilliance line. Do they have them for the dry goods style as well?

I just started doing meal prep 6 months ago. I bought plastic throw away, but microwave safe, freezer safe, bowls and larger containers with a separator and i bought about 50 of the bowls and 20 of the dishes. The bowls last about 10 dishwasher cycles before being pretty bridle and crack easy. Having the cheap options en mass when making super large soups for the winter was priceless. I would make a soup, store 15 containers and make another soup with the left over stock and made another 15 bowls. Was one of the best experiences, always knowing i had a super healthy soup ready to go by just defrosting in the microwave. $5 a dish is insane for just plastic. I prefer plastic because i bicycle to work and i just dont want any broken glass anywhere if i can help it.

At our school, pottery is not on the banned list, but it's so hard to find a good, snug lid for it.
It's hard to find pottery storage containers because when they used pottery, people actually worked hard and they didn't have leftovers

Not sure why the negative feedback on these. They stack easily in the cabinet and my set is now about 5 years old. The plastic will craze, but has not cracked. No leaks. I reheat in the microwave regularly.

That all said, the dividers seem worthless. Just let your food touch. You're not 5 years old anymore. Too bad the set without dividers is another $9.

We have been living the food storage struggle for decades - missing lids, poor organization, fridge storage, containers falling out across the floor - basically the infomercial before the product pitch. We bought several sets of the plastic and glass brilliance in December and it solved this long term struggle. Now there's always a lid for the container as all the containers use one lid. We avoid microwaving the plastic for personal preference, but have occasionally run in the dishwasher without issue.
We still keep a few extra large containers for random items (ribs recently) but this set really did fix our problem.
