There is one person(Cyber-C) in the other S23 thread (posted in my post #89) who has the Fi S23U (U1 version) and said their phone works with international SIM. You can choose to trust them or the info on Amazon.

I have a Fi base S23 (U1 version) but I don't have a foreign SIM to test.

Some say no issue with foreign Sim even with U.S version. Not sure who to trust... If it's really region locked, not worth it imo.

Just bought one from Best Buy. No catch in 'activate now', I've been able to activate with T-Mobile on the spot.

Ya I have. Fi - Unlocked,using with Esim from Tmobile and foreign physical sim, from day 1. no issues.

Ppl who say you NEED more than 8GB are morons. Just as bad as the Comcast threads where they complain you NEED 1gbps when 200mbps is sufficient even with multiple ppl streaming 4k120 games on GeForce Now. Android saves memory states in storage as well. It's usually a combination of garbage apps and terrible over-aggrrssive app closing for idle apps by Samsung to conserve battery that you end up with forced closed apps. My S20 ultra with 12GB ram force closes things constantly. It depends on the app and how long the phone has been idle. I can switch between many apps, but unless you are a power user, 8GB is fine. Remember, even Windows machines ship with 8gb, and they can still multitask. Your phone is not a full blown computer with a dated legacy bloated OS and a million hovering windows. It's one app at a time, and a delay when switching, with or without 1000gb of ram
