Legends Unchained is a much easier installation with better emulation especially if you're looking to have Dreamcast games on it.

Thanks for the pointer! Newbie here and sorry for the ignorance. Is Legends Unchained mutually exclusive from "atgames sauce", i.e., you can install either, but not both. Will I find instructions on Legends Unchained if I google it?

Yes they are different things. It's one or the other. Sauce is more mature and stable. Unchained is more powerful but still in beta.


For people I would suggest sauce and enjoy. Look at unchained of you feel sauce isn't doing it anymore for you

Legends unchained will run entirely off the USB drive you install it on. So, if you want to revert to the stock system/games, you just unplug it. You can have UCEs installed to other USB drives and should be able to run those once plugged in as well (the only other build I personally tried was coinopsx, awesomesauce was too much of a pita to download)

The legends ultimate reddit has lots of good info including a sticky thread about legends unchained.
