I have a pair, I don't recommend it at all. Never dropped them or rough with them and one day a disk just slipped out on its own, missed my foot. Tried fiddling with it but just shaking it a bit will cause it to come loose. The weight has a bump that fits through a notch of the plastic housing of the dumbbell, and when you turn to change weight it is rotating the notch away to keep the weight in place. Because it's cheap plastic it's a little bit flexible, so it gives way during side to side shakes where it can dislodge from the thin bump of the weight and falls out.

That sucks that the housing was plastic. Seems like These would be indestructable if only they spend an extra $25 making em metal.
