Do you mean it was like a returned item that someone had sloppily re-spooled, or did appear to have been spooled improperly at the factory?

Improperly spooled at factory, it was sealed but looked very messy and not tightly wound which could cause it to tangle during print

Ordered Amazon PLA once and the bag was punctured so god knows how long it's been absorbing water.

If you have a stl, I do printing. Design / modeling services are more expensive. Feel free to drop a line and we can see what you need.

I've used a lot of Amazon PLA and PETG and generally been very happy with them, FWIW.

Silk tends to be more finicky, too, in my experience

Most local library's have 3D printers too. You can bring a file and they'll print it for you. Probably fewer options on material but it's a chance to prototype!
