99% of newer shower heads don't need Teflon tape. If it has a rubber washer tape is redundant. It's not going to hurt anything but the washer is doing the seal work. Same goes for toilet and sink lines with the braided hose and washers in the female end. If you do use tape, remember to wrap it clockwise, the same way you screw the fitting together.

I don't know a on the actual shower head. The part that connects to the arm. Will have a green plastic thing that is the restrictor. Remove it and it will be an open pipe.

Ordered one, it leaked everywhere just like many reviews on Walmart. I do not suggest it.

Such a shill post. Rehashed/"updated" to show up on front page and gain more money from suckers. The first image false advertising and a huge red flag. Guaranteed this ends up in the trash.

Are you referring to the Big Rain Head, not the handheld right? I thought the rain head shower head comes with the optional restrictor so if you don't want it, you don't have to install it. I've already installed mine without the restrictor still feel the flow is ok with the rainhead. The handheld flow is great though without even removing the restrictor, it's the big rain head that I would like for it to be a bit stronger.

Most showerheads come with a plastic/rubber restrictor inside the connection point to the pipe coming out of your wall to meet water flow laws for some states. You need to use pliers or a drill to it out so it isn't an option when you get your new showerhead. The difference in water pressure and shower quality is really huge. When you take it out, it feels like a very different, improved shower.

I bought one. Take the flow restrictor out and this is the best shower you'll ever have. I'm able to have both the wand and main head on at the same time. Both give plenty of pressure for 2 people to comfortably shower at the same time if your shower is big enough.

There is a flow restrictor included in the package for the rain head as an option if you want to add it and it is not pre-installed at the factory in the rain head itself. Is there another flow restrictor somewhere else along the line that needs to be removed?

Wish the hand shower had on and off on the handle. It has a 3 way diverter only at the top of the shower which will be difficult to use either or.
