Good price but I'm wary of a "ceramic coated"griddle top. Does that mean you shouldn't use metal cooking utensils? I'd much prefer steel I can season myself
IMO when it comes to grills, anytime it says "porcelain enameled" it means it's crap.

I have a similar model but in red, was looking at the Blackstone but for the price I paid for it am pretty satisfied with it. One thing I did build was a 3 sided wind blocker to help maintain temps in windy conditions. Also bought a lid and cover.

Is this worth this price or any recommendations on another griddle?

Don't bang on it but you shouldn't need to worry about damaging it through normal use. Most of your top grates on gas stoves are procelain enameled and those wear fairly well.

Good point. If you're wanting to maintain the non-stick factor, you probably should avoid metal but my ceramic coated pans eventually became sticky (or rather not non-stick) anyways but are fine if you cook with oil.

I've had this griddle for a few years. Works great. Gets super hot with 3 burners
If you're not careful it will burn the coating and you'll never get that slick coating back.
I will definitely get stainless for the next griddle but no regrets with this one
It was small enough to take camping

How much burn time does this get with the 16 oz propane cans?
