What games? They're a business who are trying to keep their customers.

Ppl on Slickdeals are the ones trying to buy their discounted phones so they can trade it in for $1000 on AT&T

They're not here to make you money, so they're just protecting themselves

Your iPhone 14 Pro hasn't been used for a year yet. Did you not know this? Maybe you're the problem. You're the one trying to play games.

CDMA is no longer a thing since the shutdown of the 3G networks.

They enforce the 12mo unlocking policy. Super annoying, and wanted me to pay $300 to unlock a $999 iPhone 14 pro I bought with them in September.

This is stupid. Stop playing games RP. 9-19-23 I will be porting back to visible.
Yeah, it is looking like I am not going to pull the trigger on this deal...

I would recommend avoiding redpocket altogether. I used them for over a year, and everything was fine until it wasn't. It ended with complaints to every government agency I could think of, and disputing the charge my credit card company, and them trying to keep my phone number (illegal, but they didn't care)

Very much not worth it.

Oddly enough, it was the BBB complaint which helped (and not the FCC for their refusal to release my number)

Is there a contract? What if i cancel after 3rd month?
No contract. It's a prepaid carrier. The 3 months get you the $100 rebate card. Otherwise the phone is locked to their service for a year

Can we use yearly plan sim after 3 months?
I would also like to know this. 3 months at $20 for the rebate, then $60 for the year? Will that allow unlock after that year then?

Please provide specifics, or I'm having significant doubts it may not have been their fault.

This $330 off any iPhone flash sale is for our GSMA (AT&T compatible) network. However, once a device is unlocked, you can essentially use it on any network we offer.
I am an existing customer. My two lines don't qualify for this offer. Can I add another new line and after 3 months stop paying for and switch to my old line?

How's the service? My wife and I are currently with Visible but we're looking for new devices. Does anyone know if the iPhones would work with CDMA after being unlocked? I noticed the price only applies to a GSM network.
It's been a long time (thankfully) since I used red pocket.
Their customer service was a bunch people who knew nothing about their phones, their service, or their pricing.
Their communication skills were terrible (I get it second language… but most companies who outsource their cs are still able to help their customers, this was a disaster)
It's possible they have improved by now, this was close to a decade ago.
As far as the cdma, I believe that Apple builds all their phones with the same components and they works in all networks (especially with the transition to Esim).

This is the first time I have seen an iPhone SE 2022 for $100. Granted, there are strings attached with the rebate and unlock policy but a good deal nevertheless.
Visible had a deal last year with rebates and free AirPods. If you calculated the value of the AirPods into the mix it was close

Not worth it.
Red Pocket sucks and forced to have service for 12 months instead of pricing the phone outright.
To have them grag their feet during the port and cancelation process for months.

My question is does this redpocket thing work outside the united states?
I know their website says it is not supporting international roaming, but it says WiFi calling is supported. Does that mean I can connect to a wifi network and still getting calls? Or with wifi calling, you still need to activate the international roaming?

I am pretty sure 4 years ago when I used redpocket, it was not working for international roaming even when I travelled between cities in the US, I have to update a proxy setting to make my phone work. I am not sure if this improved or not.

I switched 2 of our lines to the Mint mobile 15 usd 12months plan. I still have one line that can switch from T-Mobile corp unlimited to everything plan out.

Can I just buy the phone and trade it in at AT&T? iPhone 13 Mini is getting $1000 trade in credit right now.
