I own a Theragun and it's amazing for intense post workout soreness, sleeping wrong (getting old sucks lol), or just stiff muscles. The massage intensity takes a lot of getting used to because you feel like you're being pulverized/tenderized. But, it unlocks and relaxes muscles very well. I wish these devices were available when I was running marathons. Percussion massagers really do require a second person to get the most out of them - especially for the back regions.
As to this specific device, reviews and specs look good. I paid $300 for my Theragun and it was worth every penny. I'm buying a few as Christmas presents. Even if they do die or exert less power, it's a good intro to the value of a Theragun for $30 imo. It's difficult to justify $300+ to someone else for a "massager".
Oh, and product photos show this being used almost halfway up the neck. Please do NOT do that. I wouldn't even trust the other attachments. It'll be fine at first but you could find yourself in the ER. NIH article here [nih.gov] and you can Google anecdotes by people who didn't read the warnings.
