$1/pound isn't a good standard for vinyl wrapped concrete weights. I'm not sure how much they should cost but they're inferior to iron in pretty much every way.

A gallon of water weighs 7 pounds. You can buy a gallon of water at Walmart for about a dollar. Just strap together 15 gallons and you'll save even more money than buying this set.
