Does anyone else hate Costco's website? They're so far behind Sam's club when it comes to checking stock, ordering online, scan and go, etc.

For example, many of their TVs say "delivery available" and when you click on it, it says "delivery not available and not available for pickup". This is 2023 and Costco's living in 1999.

Note: Costco's Spend and Get promotion increased $100 overnight. All prices have now dropped an additional $100 from yesterday. I have submitted a price adjustment request for my purchase. Hope they honor it or I will be canceling and repurchasing.

So I have been waiting for the OLED 77 inch C2 to go back on sale (Currently $2600+) but.....that UQ8000 86 inch monster for around $1000 has me second guessing the OLED. Granted I know OLED pictures are super sharp and awsome but the reviews of the UHD LED seem to indicates its pretty good. So I have to decide if an OLED that is 2.5 times the price is worth it. Any suggestions?? My daughter has an XBOX series X so that a big part of the use of the TV.
The 86 is a huge TV and you know what they say… but the PQ is significantly worse. This is a lower end LG TV with rather mediocre contrast and black (more like gray) levels. One thing the 86 model has in particular is hdmi 2.1 and VRR (which the smaller UQ8000 models don't have). Personally I'm also waiting for the 77 C2, but I've previously bought a similar low end TV and it served its purpose well. Not sure if your daughter is going to care about PQ when she's playing XBSX.

completely 2 different technologies. C2 is one of the best TV for gaming. As per gaming see rtings.com reviews for the each tv including movies and other useful information. .

Thanks for your input. As tempting as it is to GO BIG...I think I will continue to wait for the next round of C2 deals.

It's so they can keep the hotdog $1.50.
Sam's Club has all of these things, and their hotdog and drink combo is only $1.38 ($1.50 w/tax). There are a few things better with Costco, like their return policy, but I've found myself shopping more and more at Sam's because of the app checkout and online ordering, with free shipping for Plus Members. I've still bought my last few appliances from Costco because of the 2nd year warranty and free delivery, set up, and removal, but otherwise, I've gone almost completely to shopping at Sam's for convenience alone.

I got the 86" LG UQ8000 from the last deal and absolutely love it. Of course it's not an OLED but picture quality, contrast, refresh rate, up scaling, is really solid.

Have you tried this with gaming? It's odd it looks like the 86" has 120Hz variable refresh rate support but the smaller ones do not.

I agree...the scan and go is awesome!! I live in Huntsville and we have both Sams and Costco and I have memberships to both. We had Costco when we moved here and I picked up Sams on a slickdeal. We find ourselves getting more stuff at Costco but they only seem to have one or two checkout lanes open regularly and of course they are always backup to the isle....if Costco would just get something similar to scan and go it would be so beneficial.

LED is dying technically. in 2 years OLED will be the norm and plain LED will be what happened to DLP, plasma, LCD, etc.
So wrong and so false. Oled will remain premium for some time but lcd is not going anywhere

doubt it, once a technology reaches its peak it declines and fades away. explain to me what else is left to do in the lcd/led technology panel space? you have fake names like Uhd, qled, etc so consumers don't get bored and think it's the same old panels from 10 years ago!

I haven't tried any hardcore gaming but you are correct, the 86" is the only one with native 120hz refresh rate. It is rock solid.

An 86" TV for under a grand now. What a time to be alive! Paid $1800 for my 86" LCD a few years ago and it was a smoking deal at the time.
