For example, many of their TVs say "delivery available" and when you click on it, it says "delivery not available and not available for pickup". This is 2023 and Costco's living in 1999.

OLED is more expensive with current technology, uses more electricity, has better contrast, tends to be more vibrant, and if you do not go full brightness it tends to use something called PWM which is turning the light on and off quickly to approximate lower brightness and give some people headaches.
LED on the other hand has many different implementations and there is no way of summarizing all of its attributes. These TV goes from $300 to $1000 for a 65" set so you can expect a variety of quality levels.
The Samsung Q80 QLED TV has a mediocre native contrast ratio, even with the local dimming enabled. Blacks look gray in the dark, and it has visibly worse contrast in real content than the Samsung Q80/Q80A QLED. Keep in mind that the 50 and 85 inch models have VA panels with much better contrast. Also, note that you can't easily disable the local dimming on Samsung TVs, as you need to do it through the service
The Hisense U7H has decent gray uniformity. There's some noticeable dirty screen effect in the center of the screen, which can be distracting when watching sports or browsing the web. There's very little vignetting, though, as the sides of the screen aren't much darker than the center. Uniformity in near-black scenes is better, but there are some noticeable uniformity issues and raised blacks, especially on the right side of the screen.
So it had to be in the center....not the corner or sides....dead center...
ummm.....I think that might be tough not to look dead center at a TV...

It's the first time I've bought a "budget" tv and i'm so happy I did. 4k picture is unreal and I can game 4k @ 120hz on my xbox. I can't believe I paid only $900 for it. I got the extra 4 year warranty for like $100 which was worth it to me for the peace of mind.
