I was able to price match with Target. With red card was able to avail additional 5% discount and a longer return window just in case if any issues.

Great price but still not sure if it's worth it at $50. Got one and I guess I can return it if I don't see the value.

It's a great keyboard and quite a bit lighter and smaller than the magic keyboards. I had one for my 2017 10.5 iPad Proโ€ฆ its only recently failed from age and use. I'm hoping this one is the SAME and will still work with that model ipad. Hard to tell at this point.

If you bend this folio keyboard back the other way too much (I watch tv in bed with the ipad) the ribbon cable inside eventually will break. Mine broke over 2-3 years and of course no warranty/repair option. They keyboard was lovely when I had it but they do break very easily if you're not closing the cover normally.

These are nice, being made by Apple, and I think worth this price, but once you've lived with the Magic Keyboard there is just no going back! I freaking love that thing!

That thing (Magic KB) is quite a bit more expensive though - I had to pay nearly $200 for a refurb for my 12" Ipad Pro, and think it's $100 too high still. The price Apple is charging for a brand new one is ridiculous. Yeah, with Apple one has to pay to play...

Just got the magic keyboard (not the iPad one) for $59 off Woot yesterday - I don't care for portability so should I just stick with that?

Looking at that hinge is a bit cringe. Such a trash design compared to what they came up with for the Pro line. Attaching the folio to the back and making hinge two pieces instead of 4 like this is more usable and cuts down the weight. Still better than the Magic Keyboard, which when paired with iPad ends up being heavier and thicker than an MBA, but I'm glad Apple went back to the drawing board and moved the magnets and Smart Connector to the back of the iPad instead of the edge.

Mine lasted nearly SIX years with what I would call HEAVY use. So, YMMV but as much as it might be a weak point per se, it seems to remain pretty stable after a lot of travel and use.

Mine has lasted 5.5 and time to replace. This is a nice keyboard and great deal
