I've had this refrigerator for a year. There is an issue with the design of freezer compartment. The drawer on the bottom extends further out then the rest of the selves. On top of the drawer is thin non-tempered glass. We had a piece of frozen meat slip off the upper shelf and it crashed thru that glass above the bottom drawer. It was a mess to clean up the shards of glass. This is not covered by the warranty. I didn't want to replace with the same cheap glass. Bought a sheet of 1/4" PVC plastic, and cut it to size.

Appliance repair has been my business for almost two decades. LG makes some good appliances just NOT refrigerators. Even with new r600 refrigerant their compressors are still failing at an alarming rate.

I currently have an LG fridge that was here when I bought the house... over 10 years old and still keeping my Millers cold after all these years. Would buy this if needed but man its tempting.

Height to casing is 68 3/4" to 68 7/8" as indicated on LG website .. there is a lot of confusion about this as every big box site lists different heights

It's higher in the front (70") than the back (68") - excuse the rounding. There's a weird upper lip thing going on at the doors. In most cases that probably will not matter unless you are trying to fit it into a closet that encloses the entire fridge which is probably not recommended in the first place.

The back height is the height to top of the case .. it is 68 3/4" to 68 7/8" which is 3/4 " taller than most refrigerators. If you have only 68" height available, this is not for you.

Sorry for confusion. I was just rounding. Back of case is 68" whatever but front is 70" whatever due to upper lip at front door hinges which is why there are discrepancies with the height. Typically the 70" whatever is listed with "with front doors"

I am taking delivery tomorrow and I update as soon as I can. Can you fit it sideways? I have seen delivery guys take off the doors to accommodate small spaces. Any other door as a a sling rear door?
