  • Mesa is the tabletop fire pit made to elevate your space's aesthetic. With Dual Fuel capability and Signature 360° Airflow, anyone can easily ignite and enjoy a smokeless fire.
  • Mesa is 6.8" tall by 5.1" wide (on the stand)

Maybe not a great deal but I decided to buy one for me (bought two as 2nd gift for stepmom). Coupon applies to each item which is nice so did not have to place separate orders.

I am currently building a smokeless fire pit but it is 3ft (d) so will require a lot of wood, and while $70 is not cheap for something so small, this will allow me to do small fire on porch with twigs or pellets vs. making a large fire so think will be used. Decided to buy 2nd as gift as coupon applies to both in same order.
So bought two for $138.23 shipped.

Sort of want the mesa XL too...but this should work for porch fires.

As said in title Mesa XL should be about $105 shipped. Im sure better deal will come along but I want now.

With small size of mesa, figure I can bring this thing camping and get use out of it, and while home can do quick small fire when sitting on porch, kids can make marshmallows...we will see.

Also, note you can use a promo code freemesa and get a free mesa with purchase of Ranger, Bonfire or Yukon. Not as good of a deal as last year when Bonfire was $225 and code gave free mesa, but as member tshot02 noted after I posted about last years deal, that the code does still work with purchase of full size pit. An option for those already buying larger size. Not bad deal for ranger @$200 and get a free Mesa.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

What is this? A bonfire for ants?!
The bonfire has to be at least..... three times bigger than this!
you can pretty much make the same statement for just about every single thing posted on Slickdeals.

For just using it for fire, the cheapest hardwood pellets you can find. I used tractor supply, it's like $7 for 40lb. If you're cooking over them get cooking pellets.

Solo stoves are made in China too. I guess they are US based, so better than nothing. I bought a Breeo firepit a few years ago over a Solo because it was US made.
Breeos are great (made nearby in Lancaster, PA -- but you can't pick them up there!), but they are a different product, IMO. My buddy has one. Absolutely fantastic, but they are also beasts in comparison to the Solos since the smallest Breeo is nearly 50lb compared to 15lb for the Ranger. I like to be able to move my Bonfire (23lb) into the garage, which would be a PITA with a Breeo. My friend keeps his in place in the back, and the Breeo is ideal there.

Has anyone found a Korean BBQ plate that can fit well over the Mesa XL?

Something somewhat related to this, but more ideal fit for the Mesa XL

I do! It's about 6 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall. It produces a pretty good sized flame - definitely great for a small space indoor or outdoor on patio and definitely enough to warm hands. I ended up buying 2 - keep on the dining table permanently and is always a conversation starter and keep 1 on the patio.
Dining table? Aren't these meant for outdoor use only?

Debating which size to get. I feel like the Mesa is more aesthetically pleasing, the XL looks a little on the wide side, but I like that it can last longer.

I was referring to the Hygge Fire if you read up on the thread (hygge-fire.com)

I have enough problems with asshole neighbors who move into any area that allows open burning, then complain about people burning shit. Like the idiots that move to Iowa, then complain that there are tractors on the roads.
There are certain times of the day and week that people are allowed to burn. To get around this, they just put up chairs around what they're burning and declare it recreational. This can be at any time of day or night and it's unreasonable. I've lived here all my life, by the way and it's never been this bad. I don't live on a farm hundreds of yards from the next house. These are houses right next to each other.
