My wife is utterly addicted to this thing. She just fills the pint with Fairlife chocolate milk and then adds some PB Fit / PB2 powder, blends it with her coffee frother and then puts it in the freezer. The next day she can stick it in the machine on Lite Ice Cream setting (and then do the re-spin 3x) and it comes out like a thicker version of the Wendy's Frosty. Its like 230 calories and 20 grams of protein the way she makes it. She has one every day and has lost several pounds while having a sizeable bowl of ice cream every day.

I have a blender.

This is not a blender, but it can blend to a certain extent and it does have a spinning blade. A blender cannot do what this does and this cannot do what a blender does.

And once again, this is completely different from a blender; neither one can do what the other one does. This does not blend ice and liquid together to make a smoothie or soft-serve. It takes a block of solid-frozen ingredients (poured into the container and put into the freezer last night) and drill-presses it into a creamy mix. A blender does not start with all-frozen ingredients.

That doesn't mean you should buy it Smilie. I won't, as I don't have space in my kitchen. Just don't be ignorant about what it does.

Love the Creami. I got it 18 months ago and I got 7 containers now. My old ice cream maker is now collecting dust as it can only make one batch in 24 hours. With Creami, I can have an ice cream party within a day.

Thanks for the review Smilie Would you care to share ideas or links for low-carb/calorie if you're into that? Smilie
I know sugar replacements don't mix as well (require constant churning) so I'm looking for suggestions.

Recently I did one with milk, two scoops of protein, frozen fruit, vanilla, and monkfruit and it was amazing. I've also heard ppl adding cottage cheese into the mix or even nonfat Greek yogurt would work well too.

You could try giving them a call. You have 30 days to ask for a price adjustment

Just call or reply in the app, I had that happen with a multi tool at Christmas and I checked again and the refund was in my account

It says online that the shipping and handling are included. It should be cheaper in store. I'm going to check tomorrow.

UPDATE:

Editing my original comment, so people don't have to search for my new comment.

I just called one of my local Costcos (Teterboro, NJ) to check inventory and price and the woman said they no longer carry this item in store. I asked at any warehouse or at their particular warehouse and she said at any in the northeast. This might be different in your region, so I would call your local Costco to double check.
Other people have reported it's no longer available at their Costcos either. Definitely recommend calling ahead unless you need to go for something else anyway. The item number from the site is 2603480.

Wow really how?
Assuming this is the one they're talking about, it looks like an old deal from Black Friday.

So its not an ice cream maker. It just mixes up already frozen stuff? Very Loudly?
