I just found that out today too. Codes just work online. Will not work at kiosk or app, which is really bizarre. Could be a glitch. Usually promo codes work in-store, online and on the app. Can't recall a promo code only working online.

"3SANDWICH - $3 off a sandwich" would not work with app. But it worked on-line. strange. order on-line!

Panera is frozen/pre-processed fast food that is over priced. Virtually no cooking actually happens at the restaurant.

I have ordered a turkey sandwich and received 2 small pieces of processed turkey. It is frozen and thawed. No thanks for $13. Mac and cheese is frozen and reheated. Chicken is frozen and reheated. Soup is frozen and reheated.

Claims are "fresh" but similar to Papa John's, busted as fake.

Definitely expensive, which is why we need promo codes and discounts. Then again almost every food joint has increased their prices as well and when comparing Starbucks or Subway to Panera, I think I'm getting a better deal now that we have promo codes, my sips club, and other rewards that are stackable when the other two don't offer any discounts close to what Panera is and serve similar foods/drinks.

I wouldn't call it fast food. They don't even have a deep fryer. It's not a restaurant and they have never labeled themselves as that but are a "Cafe". Since you mentioned restaurants, they don't cook anything either and nothing is fresh, on top of that they also take a very long time to "prepare the food". The salads I would describe as fresh and they do bake pastries and other breads in their own cafe unlike Dunkin' or Starbucks which sell prepacked stuff marked up prices, especially Starbucks which is way more popular and way more processed than Panera. In conclusion, compared to the competition, Panera is "fresher" than their rivals

Panera has gone way downhill. The prices are too high, the portions are getting smaller every month and the service is slow. I give them 2 years before that are bankrupt. Even with the coupons prices are way too high for what you get.

They probably don't want people ordering 1 thing at a time with dine-in option and saving $2-$3 each time.

Thanks OP and repped. These codes pair well with the "free two months" Sip Club offer. Bagel, cream cheese and an iced coffee makes breakfast about $1.75 at my location.
