Right?! When we redid our home in 2015/2016 it was perfect time. Now that we have the time to add the shed/hobby space, we are kicking ourselves since we need more wire. Should of bought more back then for today's projects.

I stocked up and horded everything I could get my hands on in every catagory from 2015 to early 2020. My place could easily be a scene out of Horders. Floors are buckling in 2/3 of my house under thousands of pounds of shit I got for pennies on the dollar. Hundreds of boxes never even opened and that's just the food alone. It was winner take all. Nowadays I don't buy nothing except if it's 90% off or better. Golden age is over and I was there and will never have a single FOMO regret. Btw I am 100% retired in my 40s. No debt whatsoever, 820 credit score with 20 credit cards that have zero balance on them and six figures of unused credit, own house free and clear - no mortgage, no loans. Game over I won.
oh i hear you and so loaded up on stuff that im starting to pass things on. parents like to donate good (used) things to the local small town charities to auction off. several years back when sears was still around id upgraded my little air compressor so i gave the old one to dad. he rarely used it and they donated it. id paid around $70ish (some with their points game). dad said that it sold for $400!!! course it was all for a good cause.

just checked my wire stash and have 6, 10, 14, but no 12! :gasp:

meh...Even at an overpriced $159 for 250 feet at the depot, this 100 ft for 50% more a foot than that is a terrible deal.

I mean, if materialism and hoarding is your be-all end goal, uh, congratulations? I guess?

I'm sure your family that lives somewhere else is proud of you.

Not much off the high so I'll pass. I should have figured that, I just scrapped out refrigeration tubing and it was off Spring 22 prices by just 10%

•Family? If any at all they're long gone or part of the hoard.
•Prior hoarder here, had to clean out the hoard since it got to the point I didn't know what I had, ran out of space in my 3,700 sq Ft home + 1,800 sq Ft shed, to the point I was buying stuff I already had that I forgot about
•Wife was contemplating leaving after 40 years of stuff that was piling up, that I could have unload at significant gains in this post Covid Cause-flation
•I knew the hoard was crap to those close to me when my children who received my deals just took stuff to appease mom and then tossed it out as trash
•After all these years, in my old age, it's not a deal if you have to constantly deal with it for years beyond initial acquisition

My hoard was so bad my former wife was killed walking down a wall of hoard which collapsed on her and trapped her until her untimely death while I was away on business travel...I hoard no more...

Not that great since most 12/2 is in 250ft rolls that people look for.
