That is BS, the Fuel version goes for $199, you are confusing $85 for the M12 version

I have it. My opinion after owning is that your standard battery packs don't have enough juice for vacuums yet. This thing is seriously weak with a 5AH battery. With their largest 12AH battery, its OK at best. Good for stuff like sucking up a little drywall dust after drilling a hole. Seriously inadequate for most construction messes.

My question is what are you trying to clean up with a 2 gallon vacuum? This is literally for cleaning up after smaller jobs when you don't feel like bringing your 10 gallon with all the attachments and an extension cord. This is precisely how I use ours - I hook it up to be some battery-powered tools to collect dust, suck up bits of drywall after cutting openings/drilling for power outlets, fixtures, access panels, etc.

For actual construction mess we've got a corded DeWalt 10 gallon.\

Also We have a high output M18 battery for it and it gives the M18 vac quite a bit more power.

I've used this for cleanup after a washing machine related leak, anytime I drill into drywall and to quickly vac out the car. In the car the tension of the hose it annoying because it moves around if you don't keep your hand on it. Other than that it's great

I bought one a few weeks ago to use in my garage. Great little vacuum, but it eats batteries pretty fast.

Overkill for car detailing?

Also , are there significant advantages to the 2.5 gallon Fuel version over this aside from the .5 gallon larger size and packout?

Kobalt 24v vacuum has way more power than this. They all drain batteries fast but at least kobalt vacuum picks up whatever you throw at it. Screws and all
