No they can't redownload them. Wii and Wii u stores are closed and servers shut down. That's why people buy physical. Tbh if you're not pirating those systems though you're a fool. Also I would like to mention you don't get case artwork with digital but they don't even give booklets anymore with physical. The future will be digital but I dont agree with it
Digital games have zero resell value whereas physical games hold some value and in some cases, increase in value.

It makes zero sense to me why digital is gaining popularity when in many cases, it's the same price as physical. I'd understand it if digital was less expensive, but rarely is that the case.
Old man here who's just getting back into gaming. I have a switch, but don't have a case. This deal is perfect for me. Thanks op!

Tears of the Sun…Jesus. Please correct this.
Yep, Nintendo should definitely rename the game Tears of the Sun Jesus. Wink

By now almost every Switch owner has a case, it'd a very good deal actually maybe we can sell the case for like $20 or more of its really collectors edition.
I decided to stop buying physical media after realizing that hording wii, wiiU and other older platform games just now taking up space on shelves and I can't really let myself sell those older Zelda games. Unless you have a wall of games, I thi k it's better we buy digital copies. Does Nintendo allow you to reinstall those games even if they stop selling them like what happens to PS3 digital games, can people re-download them these days still?

I would rather get it cheaper without booklet or artwork. Those have no value to me so why would I pay for them.
do you REALLY think they would get rid of those and reduce the price? Nintendo? You know, the same company that stopped bundling chargers with their DS's and charged the same price? You know, Nintendo, that started selling limited edition consoles at elevated prices and without the accompanied game? You know they started that, right?

It's way more convenient, for one. I'll buy physical if I think I might want to share/sell the game or I see a good sale, but 9 times out of 10, if it's not a first party game, the digital version goes on sale way more often and for way cheaper. My library is full of gems that were 50-90% off.

I buy digital bc my kids play the games and they're easy to lose. When I want to play something, it's annoying to have to track down the game and insert it. It's all about the convenience factor. Resale has value to those who will sell them, but for those of us who never will, physical is just plain burdensome. That said, servers eventually shutting down is a disappointing consideration for the future. Hopefully that will be a ling time from now.

This is why the only digital games I own were ones selling for steep discounts. I'll never pay full price for a digital copy. It's crazy that digital generally starts off at the same price as the physical counterpart, despite all the cost savings for the game companies.

There are many YouTube tutorials to hacking and playing pirated games. You can play Wii and GameCube and even older systems on the Wii. The website link below I think is a written version of hacking/soft modding the Wii which is the first step but I would watch the YouTube videos for the full tutorial. You'll need to hack your Wii then download programs to allow you to play pirated games. They will never provide you with links for where to download these games but you can find them online.

You are wrong. You can still download Wii U games from the eshop. You just can't buy them anymore.
