Ok price, but this is easily VM's best blender. Have had one for many years without any issues.

I was able to snag the E320 in red refurbished from the Vitamix website for $177 after the $25 off they give you when you sign up on their website earlier in the year. Their website does have good sales on occasion

They'd actually removed the 5200 for a bit from Amazon entirely. Couldn't search for it and it disappeared from my "save for later" list. Glad to see it's back.
Waiting on it to come back down to sub-300. I passed on it before at that price and kicked myself.

Looks like it but the 5200 is better built. It's made of mostly metal. The explorian is entry level with a lot of plastic. But with the two stainless steel tumblers and straws this entry level model might be a deal for some. You are still getting the Vitamin power in a blender.

Have had a 5200 for around 6 years now. Pretty soon after buying the motor unit went back for repair for noisy bearings.

Now, about 4 years later it is super loud again.

It does work well but I am disappointed it has not lasted longer for light smoothie duty.

well, shit, this just goes to show that a much cheaper blender that might only last 2-3 years is just as good if not better.
