Costco [costco.com]currently has this Greenworks 42" Zero Turn with a $1500 off coupon right now and also qualifies to stack with a $600 off $2000+ purchase promotion which runs through 5/4.

Brings the grand total to $4399.99 before tax. Pretty slick IMO if you're in the market - we were looking at it prior to the $600 off promotion but it was just a bit too pricey for me to pull the trigger.

The Costco warranty (especially the 8 year battery warranty) is a big plus for me, personally. And we may even sell some of the batteries as I don't anticipate we'll need all 12 in rotation to make it even a bit slicker.

Definitely too many for our purposes but that's why we'll probably resell some.

Yeah, with a 2 inch clearance. You'll end up beached on the slightest bump. Might work good on a salt flat though.

I wonder if you can remove the mower deck though. And modify the front tires, get something a little more all-terrain on there.

Somebody mentioned in the reviews on Costco the manual isn't very good - I.e., the deck can be removed but they didn't spell out how to do so.

So knock your socks off. I'd love to see someone Dukes of Hazard one of these bad boys lol.

It goes 8mph. You'd be better off buying a Power Wheels.

Just ordered the 60v one from Tractor Supply for $4000. It comes with 6 8AH batteries as opposed to the 12 4AH with this. Otherwise looks like the same mower. Any opinions on which is a better deal?

How many battery ports does yours have? This one has six, so you can charge six while using six.

The point of all the batteries is that you can charge one set of six while mowing with the other. But if you have a smaller property, maybe not necessary...

Battery warranty is no joke. Those batteries will likely not last 8 years. Let's be honest -- those batteries are totally overpriced anyways. It's like the "give away the razor, charge for the blades" mentality like they use for printers and ink. Hopefully there will be more battery repair shops popping up that will give these manufacturers more competition.
In today's world, the batteries are expensive and they don't last forever, at $230/battery retail to replace.
