As a man, this is my favorite overnight face moisturizer. It's expensive, but I had a pm deal on these a few years ago where I got 5 of the 12 packs for dirt cheap. Some things I've noticed: face stopped being dry. Obviously, but another thing I noticed after a month is my skin started smoothing out some crows feet on my eyes and neck, which I've never experienced using a beauty product for real. Basically came here to comment it works for some self care for men.

This is supposed to be a good dupe for the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream (which retails for $54 for 1.7 Oz). I've used the PTR Cloud Cream when I could snag it on an Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Deals & it is amazing. It's a great lightweight face cream, especially for summer. This is a great deal, especially for anyone who wants to try a dupe for the PTR Cloud Cream.

However, for those that care, Neutrogena is not a cruelty free brand.

Good to know, thank you!

But holy insane-pricing, batman... the non-face Hydro gel-cream is literally 20 TIMES CHEAPER :o
https://www.amazon.com/Neutrogena...Hydrating/

I suppose there may be some substantive difference in formulation, but cynically I'm wondering if it's just clever product segmenting to dramatically increase profits.

(of note: quite a few reviewers of the 20x-cheaper product are saying it works great on their face)
Link isn't working for me but Costco's is 3.4 oz for 22.99 or 15 cents per ounce.

Unsure how many uses that is though.

I'm afraid you reversed the numbers. It should be the total price / ounces = price per ounce. So in this case, the cost is $6.76 per ounce (not including tax).

In contrast, this Hydro Boost Body Gel [amazon.com] is 45 CENTS per ounce (!).

Okay, 'only' a 15x difference, not 20x. But still... come on :o

We both love this. By the extra dry skin version.

Ha, yeah. My bad! Something per oz should have the oz in the denominator.

Don't leave us in suspense! How did the box look? Well hydrated? Lustrous?

I really like this as a twice daily moisturizer. Better than the Kiehl's cream I bought that was a lot more expensive.
I dunno if this will replace Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream but I will try to get one in-store tomorrow to try. Kiehl's is kinda expensive at $33 per 1.7-oz

This is literally the only moisturiser that doesn't break my insanely high maintenance skin out. Tried so many over the past 10 years - cheap ones, expensive ones and nothing really works except this one. This is a decent price also I think, I stocked up back in December when they were on sale for the same price.

Formulation certainly is different, but what it means is beyond me. Probably need a formulation chemist/scientist to figure it out.

FWIW, there is likely not much hyaluronic acid in the products, as HA is 3rd to last on both ingredient lists.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid for Extra Dry Skin

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Moisturizing Gel Cream with Hyaluronic Acid
  • Water, Glycerin, Isopropyl Palmitate, Petrolatum, Dimethicone, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Cetearyl Olivate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sorbitan Olivate, Fragrance, Carbomer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Blue 1

Yeah, Kiehl's seems like it leaves a residue on my face that is ok but I do not love. This stuff leaves nothing and moisturizes very well.

I second this. This is probably the best product for men in terms of moisturizing. I am planning to stack some more on this.
