I wish they made it easier to clean. It's such a pita. The lid needs to be removable as it gets grimey there pretty quickly and is hard to reach the stubborn areas.

I wish they made it easier to clean. It's such a pita. The lid needs to be removable as it gets grimey there pretty quickly and is hard to reach the stubborn areas.

Cleaning isn't too bad for me. I use the provided brush. Bought this a few months ago for $130 on clearance at Costco and am loving it! Great to cook chicken and burgers in. My friends were really impressed with the smoke capture feature. The air fryer function is okay.

Friend of mine has one and won't stop raving about how nice it is. We made ribs in it one time and they looked great and no smoke!
Unfortunately, the meat wasn't tender at all.
If you are looking for air fryer, there are tons of deals on Amazon for basket types. Here is a really good one:

Guessing it was over cooked... I have the previous model and noticed the cook by temps are off but nice ball park.

Got this from a previous deal. Works amazing! Great addition to my kitchen. Much less cleaning than a traditional grill but chars better than pan frying and oven toaster. Traditional grill give more classic grill flavor but that's too much setup and cleaning.

Need to get used to the settings but once familiar with it it can cook great. Grilled corn and crispy broccoli. Fried chicken crisps well even marinated ones.

I agree that the top part being not removable makes the cleaning slightly harder. I recommend doing a quick paper towel wipe after use so grease dont accumulate. Get some anti grease spray like Dawn Powerwash to easily clean the metal pans and grill.

I have the version with a smoker ("7 in 1"). It's the best thing ever. My wife was against it at first but fell in love real quick. Even without the smoker I'd highly recommend one.

The little temperature gauge thing is so clutch when cooking steaks. The preset values don't seem to work right but setting a steak to 130 and letting it rest for a couple minutes equals a perfectly medium-rare steak every time. I can pan fry a steak no problem (except for all the smoke alarms going off) but never was good at cooking them on the grill.

It's also the best air fryer I've ever used. Everything comes out so uniformly cooked (as long as you flip halfway through).

Cleaning it is really the only bad thing I can say about this thing. And if you don't clean the heating element mesh guard thing regularly, it will smoke.

This is for the 2nd generation, the woot deal was for a refurbished 1st gen. I have no idea what changed between the two generations, but the older version is fantastic. And better looking.

I have the older version and love it. I agree it is better looking.

I believe the difference is that the older version heats from top only while the newer heats from top and bottom. That's what I read, anyway.

The old version is very easy to clean. Soak the pans and grease screen overnight then light brushing and rinsing. Do a quick dabbing near the upper element after every use.

Yup I have the 5-1 from the woot deal and as soon as I'm done cooking I put them in the sink with water and soap and cleans super easily. Love it! Cooks the best Tri tip ever to medium rare 10 min on each side on the medium grill setting.
