Are these good for espresso? New to the bean scene.
Clicked with the same question. I currently buy from local roasters and these are so much cheaper. Espresso needs fresh beans though so I'm pretty sure this and any other mass manufactured beans just won't be that great. Espresso also needs, in my opinion, a darker medium at the very least.

local roaster will be much better and fresher then these.
fresher coffee is better, no if ands or buts about it.

This is what I am currently using. Works but it threw a wrench in my setup. Still it behaves better than the fair trade beans from Aldi, which I relegated to the drip coffee grinder and nobody drinks anymore. If doing lattes at home it's a non-issue.

Both dark and medium roasted are at same price. Is this dark roasted, very dark or just medium dark ? Which one is better for espresso ?
Their roasts are about 2 shades lighter. I'm not a fan of dark roast and just finished a bag of their Perfetto dark roast and it wasn't dark at all. Tasted just like Gevalia traditional roast.
Good deal but if you just want a single 2.2lb bag there is a 20% off coupon, it was $12.34 for me with S&S discount making it cheaper per unit just to get one. I don't like to buy over 1kg at a time anyway to keep them fresh.
This is my absolute go to for a daily drinker. It's a medium roast, mild, earthy, chocolatey, not acidic in the least coming out of an aeropress. Simply cannot be beat for the $5-ish/lb price point. Freezes well.

By American standards it's on the lighter side of medium at that.
A much better full bodied roast than you'll get from Starbucks. Great for mornings and afternoons.
I swear by these beans as my non-special daily driver.
