As noted in the title, I saw this TV on Clearance at the Costco in Birmingham, AL marked down to $1399, Brand New! I rarely see markdowns like this written by hand so this is YMMV. 2 left at the Costco I visited brand new in the box. I didn't get it as I had no need, but thought i'd share as this seems to be a great deal if anyone is shopping for a 85" TV. Good luck!

Plainfield still $1999.97 as of yesterday. I would get this at $1400 but we'll see how much they drop it.

This year's Samsungs are even worse. Blooming, light bleed all over and very visible vertical bands. on white or light backgrounds. Also nits drops significantly after a few months. Seems like the leds are burning out. Samdung went from top notch to king of the trash pile in the last 3-4 years.
Nobody cares. Arguing over electronics' quality in spare time? Lol.
But, you did say this TV sucks. What $13-1500 85" would you recommend?
