2 grams of sugar per 2 tablespoon servings? Are they using GMO sweet tomatoes or something?

You must really be a Chi-Chi's man.

This is cheaper than my usual Great Value fare (utterly terrible chips and salsa having became my go-to WFH snack) but I do have some concerns about whether I can consume this in enough time to avoid spoilage (I'll surely reuse 24oz containers left over from Great Value brand salsa) and of course I'm surely not getting anything particularly tasty in exchange for the savings.

But of course, I'm in for one.

Good luck!
Jon

Ingredients include tomatoes in tomato juice, onions, and concentrated crushed tomatoes, all of which naturally contain sugars.

It's just tomatoes, onions, garlic, jalapenos, vinegar, and salt. It could easily be fancied up by adding a few ingredients of your choice. A pureed can of chipotles in adobo sauce would be an easy way to add some complexity.

I remember Chi-Chi's from childhood! We went there for many birthdays, and fill up on free chips and salsa. I don't think I could eat 60oz of salsa before it started going bad though.
