For those of you who don't want to pay $75+ to scalpers on Ebay for the physical copy(saw a copy sold for $122!). This is the only place I've founded in stock after checking GameStop, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy everyday for the past week.

Play-Asia also has and I initially ordered from them but they took forever to ship so I was able to cancel the order.

Is this tough to get? Will it get easier to find eventually, or is there some reason it's in short supply? I've had it on my list, but I didn't realize it was difficult to get hold of. I can wait, but now I'm worried that's not going to work out for me.

I don't think Capcom expected this amount of sales. It sold a million copies in about 2 weeks. To put that into perspective, the best selling Mega Man game was Mega Man 11 with 1.6 million copies sold and that took 4 years.

Very few physical copies were actually made. I saw on Ebay there were physical copies being sold for as high as $100 today.

I was able to order 2 copies for me and my friend who both played one of these games in our childhood.

Typical GameStop lately. I have several open orders with them for various items that they keep restocking but never actually ship They are operating like a company about to go under. I would rather pay an extra $15 for the reliability of eBay in this situation.

Can't use the 5 dollar monthly coupon because the price drops under the free shipping threshold and ends up costing more. GameStop do better.

I see people say that all the time, and I know their stores pull that crap, but I don't think I've ever had it happen with an online order. Just ordered from their last B1G1 and all 4 were sealed new.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen. But it doesn't seem to be the norm. My guess is it most likely happens when an item ships from store and they only have a limited # of copies left (so they ship out one of those "new" games that were gutted to use as display case).

I was able to get a copy on launch weekend. Sure, a few places where oos, but there were enough stores close by for me to check. Surprise they didn't make that many physical copies. There's always digital, I suppose.
