I am not sure what other differences there are.
There might not be generic toner available for this model as it looks like it uses a different cartridge, 067.
The only downside that I found after I bought it was that it doesn't scan duplex. It prints duplex, the ADF works great, but you have to manually flip the page and scan it if there is stuff on the back that you need. Not a huge dealbreaker for home, but probably would be in an office setting.
The first time, because the software was messed up, and they kept trying to fix it remotely before they finally gave up and told me to send it back.
The second time, because the replacement printer was damaged in transit.
It was a huge headache at the time, but is a distant memory now. This printer has been great ever since. Highly recommended!
