I was going to order but noticed the ingredients has yellow 5, blue 1, yellow 6… , why the heck they add artificial colors into this? PASS

Ingredients: WATER, TOMATILLOS, SOYBEAN OIL, GREEN CHILE PEPPERS, AVOCADOS, ONIONS, CILANTRO, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF DEHYDRATED ONION, IODIZED SALT (CONTAINS POTASSIUM IODATE), LIME JUICE CONCENTRATE, MALTODEXTRIN, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, SUGAR, CANOLA OIL, CALCIUM SILICATE, BAKERS YEAST EXTRACT, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, XANTHAN GUM, DEHYDRATED CILANTRO, GARLIC POWDER, ASCORBIC ACID (TO HELP PROTECT FLAVOR), CITRIC ACID (TO ACIDIFY), YELLOW 5, BLUE 1, YELLOW 6..

so really a mix of oil and water and tomatillos, and tomatillos and chile peppers.

also manufacturer replied to a Q on one of them saying it has 2 tablespoons of salt in it! Though I guess it is 32 ounces....

.... but what I'm more concerned with is someone said they bought this in December 2022 and it's best til or had expiration date just a couple months after.

I love this salsa
Goes great with many things like salads, chicken, beef, fish, tacos, pizza, fries, wings, etc.
However these don't have long expirations dates so don't buy to store for long periods.

Glad to see no mayo, i.e, eggs. But 32 oz in a month may as well be a barrel. They should do a container divided in the middle with four openings.

My mom makes a super simple salsa which is to die for. Tomatillos, onion, garlic and two different kind of dried pepper.

I just ordered this on Monday for $3.58 with subscribe and save with 5 items, and now it's $4.22 with the same parameters. So...not a deal now. And thanks for all the comments. I have a few weeks to think it over, and may cancel.

Making it yourself is easy and tastes infinitely better than any store bought guac. I use Alton Brown's recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recip...pe-1940609

Once you make your own you'll never buy guac again.

I didn't know it had that much soybean oil (likely GMO) and 3 different food colors. Yuk. Glad I found this out and was able to cancel my order in time. Thanks for sharing the ingredients and I'll have to read those before ordering next time.
