the AIO is kinda cheap feeling and small, not great cooling potential.

unless you really need the space factor, which you really dont unless you live in a box i guess? id just grab a $40 case, $40 air cooler and 80$ psu for a better system for cheaper
Guessing you dont know small form factors(SFF) are more expensive than regular desktop components.

Just grabbed an "Open-Box Excellent" white model for $147 shipped after using my $5 dollar off monthly BB certificate and another $7 dollar BB gift card I had lying around.

Whatever ATX case you get for only $40 bucks is likely going to be pretty bad. As Slimwallet said, the point of these cases is for people who want a Small Form Factor (SFF) build. This case is closer to the size of an Xbox Series X than a compact, mid-size, or large ATX case, which would all be bigger.

Excellent for camping, very easy to start a fire with this. A+
That was a defect in the v1 model, which was fixed in this v2 model.

I would never buy this case at its retail price ($400) and probably not even at its sales price ($200), but $150 for an "Open-Box Excellent" isn't a bad price at all considering what is included.

Have the case for 1 year almost and excellent. Check out Etsy for 3d printed expansion panels when you just want to tinker and improve cooling or add fans. It's not required but I've improved idle temps on 13700k from 42 to 30 (CPU temps, MB temps from 37 to 28) and I'm not done yet. Why? Because its fun to do every now and then on a rainy weekend.

Nevertheless, even without mods, H1 is an excellent value at $199, even considering itx premium.

If you do some searching on Reddit, you will see that people have gotten it to fit with a couple mods…

1.) Since the 4090 FE is a 3 slot card and the case only supports 2 slot cards, you would have to bend the bracket or do some other kind of modification.

2.) Remove the magnetic filter from the GPU side of the case.

Then, there would still be concern regarding the 750 watt stock NZXT SFF PSU being able to power the 4090. You may also need to upgrade the PSU.

I have this case with a FE RTX 4080 and a 5900x. CPU cooling isn't amazing (only a single 140mm AIO afterall) so i'd look at a thermally effecient CPU (really would do 7900 non-x based off reviews). I also recommend the RTX 4080 over the 4090 as it only needs 3 PCIe connectors (which is all the case has) and isn't a concern with a 750w PSU. Plus it's oversized cooler keeps it chilly in a hot itx case.

This isn't a Lian Li case
Haha, normally I would say you are correct but this is the one case NZXT makes that isn't the same as every other case they make (i.e., H210, H510, H710, etc.).
