The Bidets in this sale are being sold as open box condition. That means that they may have been opened due to being a photo sample or have some package damage but are in new condition. Been using mine from Costco for 3 years and it works great still. Our water is very hard so this has been a concern of mine too, but so far it's functioning well still.

My concern for this deal is the "Open Box" status. If they're just clearing out inventory, great. If these have been touched by someone else, I'm not sure I would want to use it haha.

I have had 2 Bio Bidet's fail on me. The first had the seat warmer fail within 1 year and the nozzle pressure failed within 2 years. The 2nd bidet had the nozzle pressure fail within 1 year. Even after a warranty claim it arrived back to me still broken. Basically, their warm water bidets DO NOT work with hard water, even if you have a water softener. Otherwise, you must have some type of inline filter at the bidet.

This sells for $600 on the BB website (probably inflated) but was also a popular deal here at $300 late last year. Seems like a good price - no?

ETA: 3 year warranty from manufacturer new, only 1 year here. That may be an issue.

For what it's worth, there are hose types of "bidets" on Amazon for around $30... it's not as convenient, and it uses whatever temp the water is, but it has definitely been an improvement in our household.

I think based on the above comments & only 1 year warranty, it might be better to just wait for a sale on a Japanese-made bidet
