Yes, as with all hard drives.

You just need to adjust your expectations - NAS drives might be a bit slower (than let's say WD Black or Blue or equivalent).
Also, NAS drives are better at tolerating borderline conditions - such as vibrations from adjacent disk drives, error recovery (especially in RAID environments) etc.

Debating these for a NAS but remember the horror stories of Seagate. Anyone with experience of these or just newer Seagate drives and reliability? Has it gotten any better?

I know that if you get these for a NAS reliability is not as much of a concern due to redundancy but would like as few headaches as possible.

Not these specific ones, but I have used Seagate for NAS as well as in raid configuration multiple times, both at home and at work. Zero issues.
I know lot of people complain and swear off Seagate, but any drive can fail. Iron wolf ones are supposedly much better than the old Seagate barracuda ones.
But only get this if you're not going to keep thinking about the drive every day…. Once you setup your NAS, add monitoring on it (many NAS like synology or Qnap have built in capabilities, or if a custom build there are tools you can use).
I always setup the monitoring to send email alert upon issue.

And oh, make sure you keep a backup regardless!!

We had dozens of the 4TB Seagate hard drives with the 30%+ failure rate about 10 years ago. Took a break from Seagate and used HGST and WD for a while. Went back to Seagate maybe 5 years ago and they've felt similar to WD in terms of failure rate in NASes. We have 40 or so drives in service now. These have 5 year warranties and are relatively easy to replace with an advanced RMA. If I recall from Backblaze's hard drive reliability reports, Seagate is a hair worse than other brands, but not by far and usually cheaper.
