They trickle $2 credits to your account for 24 months to pay for it, and the line was no charge as long as you had auto-pay set, but they are changing auto-pay to not discount if it is on a credit card. There is still a dollar or so taxes on the line, I will likely drop it as soon as the credits end because AirTags are better.
