I don't get the thumbs down. Sam's has taken down the product page entirely and also seems to have cleared out their ALU inventory as well. If you want a virtual pinball now this is the best available deal.
The one thing to consider is a 4K version is on the horizon. Higher res and frame rate are meaningful for pinball more than arcade units. If you are willing to wait, it might make sense to see how that is priced and if people will be trying to get rid of the older units to upgrade. With VIPOutlet you won't get warranty support from AtGames, but at least you can return it if there is a problem (that is a hassle given the size of these).
Not as good a deal as the recent sam's club steal , but a great price none the less ...Love the machine so far !!
Not just the steal price, but the subsequent price adjustments Sam's honored based on pictures of sales price displays at certain B&M locations, in the end in got mine for around $220 after the 2 PMs I requested.
says varies by location. I've seen it go even lower to around $200 but depends on which sam's you go to. I don't think Sams carry any atgame pinball machine
I've been monitoring this machine from the same eBay outlet since they sold the $299 Legends Ultimate machine. If this drops to $399 (lowest price before the Sam's Club B&M price match), I'll be purchasing and pairing with my Legends Ultimate
I bought it from the $229 Sam's Club Deal and did the Haptics upgrade (amp and dayton exciters and shaker). The system itself is really bad, gameplay and feedback. Adding the shakers and exciters was only a slightly improvement. I build a 43" 4k setup after that and it's awesome, but a lot of work and I am $1400 into materials or so. It was difficult to argue against it at $239 but wouldn't suggest spending over $300 on one. Demo'ed other tables on the arcadenet trail but didn't find any that are really worth buying. Seems to require a login every time someone tries to use it which is super frustrating. Argument for it is that you can't really buy another good vpin without building one.

I agree that the default system is pretty weak. I added Stern legs ($80) and a VIBS board and LED (another $120) and connected to a PC and this KILLS it playing FX3. I have every table there and it looks and feels amazing. Using X360ce, you can tweak the plunger to emulate the right stick on the Xbox controller and tilt via left stick and it feels great. Probably took 2 days to setup, but it's cool now.
Unfortunately this is the best deal currently. I got lucky and grabbed two units at Sam's during their massive closeout for $220 ea . Kept one and sold the other for $550..
This is a really cool but niche item, that most people wouldn't even consider buying due to the space required to set it up, for the same price as a PS5. I wonder if the condition of these is virtually new...maybe they found a bunch of Sams walmart stock that never sold out, and have it here for the taking. Congrats to anyone buying, should be a whole lot of fun after connecting to a gaming PC with vpx,fp, pba, fx3 etc.

Correct, which is why I stated that I haven't seen it lower since sams clubs clearance
