My friend had an old fashioned flip phone that she hates! She would be using this only for phone calls. Would this be worth getting for her as a gift?

How often do they have these hsn deals? I need a new phonenamd number in about 2 months, not sure if there will be a newer phone. I have a cheap Motorola that's actually been pretty solid battery life wise, and was thinking of getting the stylus version with cheap service like this.

Funny to look at this 6.5" phone and then seeing the flahship models 30x the price... sure just about every spec is better, but 30x better, i don"t think so.

You don't need to spend anywhere near 30x this to get a flagship. Also, with 32GB of storage (only 9GB is usable) and a very laggy UI experience I would avoid this phone unless it's essentially a backup. I've had this phone for 2 weeks as a stopgap.

edit: I'd avoid the _phone_ as a daily driver but the deal is awesome for the service alone and provides you with a backup device
