Skip steam deck and get Asus ROG ally
Doubled performance and doubled price? Do we really need that?

Price is only $50-70 more compared to the same model Steam Decks. I think $599 and $699 according to leaks.
Stop with the troll comments.

ROG is not released.

Pricing is not released.

Will it work to play series x games off of or only classic one and below?
You can't. Xbox has only 2 SSD's that are whitelisted that it will except. One from Seagate and one from Western Digital. This one will not work.

You can also use this for Xbox with an adapter.
Not true. There are only two specific drives that are whitelisted by the Xbox firmware to work. If you try to use any other drive, it won't work. They're the same two drives that are in the expansion drives that can be bought. One's a Seagate drive. The other is the Western Digital Blue CH SN530 (the same drive that's in the consoles). The nearly identical PC SN530 will not work.

There were leaks from "reputable sources". People believe the leaks are a marketing ploy by asus to drum up hype for the device.

Laptops and Steam Decks should be designed around the longer stick. My Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 comes with 2 M.2 slots, slot #1 only fits 2242 while slot #2 fits up to 2280. It's a bit confusing.

2.5A ouch, if your looking at this for your steam deck know that the stock drives use about 1A less then this drive. So I'm sure it will effect battery life some what.

Hmm for $10 more you can get the Corsair one which has faster write speeds? https://www.corsair.com/us/en/cor...dress/add1

Plus 3D TLC NAND

Plus you dont need to deal with Newegg
