CAS latency is a measure of cycles to complete the task, not a measure of time. So 30 cycles at 6000MHz is about 10ns. For comparison, 28 cycles at 5600MHz is also 10ns, because each cycle takes longer. So the lower CAS latency number is not an actual improvement in latency over the 6000MHz kit.

Hello, I am new at ram, thanks in advance for the info. So CAS 30 at 6000 mhz is roughly the same speed as CAS 28 at 5600?
