Good price for the new HD660S2. Should have launched at $450 retail price to be honest.

Fantastic that a headphone can get this expensive. Amazing to see the power branding to be able to brainwash people to buy something like this.

Fantastic to bash something you clearly have no experience with because it is too much money for you. If you want good soundstage in a headphone, the HD800S has been king for years and is super well known by the community. It has it's limits, but if you want to listen to an symphony and know the violins are in front to the left and the cellos is back to the right with French horns just in front of them, the HD800S is for you. Alternatively, if you are gaming and want to know just where a shot came from, again the HD800S is king. I've listened to a friend's set of these with a set of electronics powering them that was over $10K. Phenomenal even it if was more than I am spending.

If you want some awesome earbuds "iem" the ie 600's are an awesome way to go! Great bass easy to drive.

There is another deal on this one which 1200$, shows how large Sennheiser's profit margins are. My previous comment was meant to be a genuine admiration for Sennheiser, what is the point of existence of a sheep if it is not going to get slaughtered? that would be such a waste.
