The base Sims 4 game has been free to play for a while now. You still have to pay for expansions and such, which is where EA really makes their money.

I believe I heard the bundle is limited time on and can only play with it for free the dates listed? I am excited as I only have get to work, so looking forward to playing with jungle adventure for a few days.

Nope, they give away full games every Thursday. The only thing that is time limited is the redeem part.

The packs are so expensive. To own them all would cost well over $1000 at this point.

So my kids already have Sims 4 and a number of packs that we bought through Origin (now EA). Is it possible to just get the expansion pack through Epic and use that with the Sims game from Origin/EA?

Saw an educational tag on this game and I have to agree. Definitely learned a lot about #adulting when I was a child. When I played the original Sims and I was losing friend from not socializing with them, I remembered thinking meh that'll never happen to me my friends are forever!!!

Nope, turns out the game is right. Friendship is like a flower, you gotta water it or else it'll be wilted

Origin is dead FYI. Everything is now through EA's new app, which has crashed multiple times so far vs the zero on Origin.

There is supposed to be a way to link to your EA account. I have linked it, but it is not showing anyway to download it. Only Sims 4 shows in my library (even on epic) and when I click on it opens up to play. When I search for the bundle on epic game launcher it says "in library" on the bundle page and when I click on the "in library" button it just brings me to my library where it says Sims 4 without an option to download the bundle. It launches the game when I click on it.

Interestingly, it "unlocked" the new destination world (comes with jungle adventure) in game... however it is unclickable and says "world not installed. When this pack has finished downloading restart the sims 4 to instill it." I don't know how to tell if it is downloading and have closed and opened the game multiple times.

Also, on the main menu of sims 4 game, when I click on "packs" at the top and scroll down to jungle adventure... it shows I own it (does not show "unowned" underneath), but hovering over the image it says "download to use."

How does one download the bundles??

Anyone found a work around?

I figured it out!!!!! on the EA game launcher on the sims 4 page, you have to click "manage", then "manage add-ons." That will bring a pop-up with all the extras. You can click the download buttons on each of the 3 new items.

That was unnecessarily confusing, but glad I figured it out... so excited to test these out!
