I was just at BestBuy in Northglenn, CO. They had the Vizio Elevate 5.1.4 on clearance for $400.99 a discount of $599.

I got it at $700 when it was just released. It had many issues in the beginning and finally got all bugs fixed more than a year ago after several firmwares. Make sure you only hold the sound bar by the center. It works great for me, but I would not pay $800 for it.

There was a placard showing clearance in store. I was able to order with a sales rep for delivery. Pick up was also an option as there was no more stock in store.
