when ryobi first started to make tools with more power, they made them capable of using two 18v batteries--i know that a little less power than a 40 v but, i have a ton of 18v batteries so it was great--now they want me to go out and buy the more expensive 40v--what happened to 1 battery fits all
Pretty sure the 40v is actually 36V. There are a couple of 3D printed adapters you can buy if you Google ryobi 18v to 40v adapter.

how are the pressure washer deals?
I got the 40v cordless on one of the last sales for 45% off. Haven't seen it for less than that. It runs through about 5 5 gallon buckets with two fully charged 40v batteries that come with it. I highly recommend.

Looking good to me. Was going to get an electric one but the gas powered ones come with a free surface cleaner.

No deal on Ryobi brushless angle grinder. Pure double standards at its vest.

I find the IR cameras that attach to your phone work much better to see the hot/cold spots in your room (though they're a lot more expensive ~$200-300+, eg Seek, Infiray, etc; amzn: B091YCS54X). The spot IR readers are fine for cooking, but using the camera you can see the temperature changes much more easily. I'd avoid the Flir models that require charging separately. That said, you can use the spot IR thermometers for what you want -- you just need to be more methodical.

What's the predominant opinion for pressure washers? I'm not sure if another posts responses were just plain snarky...but should you opt for electric over gas? Brushless? I'd like one that actually lasts more than a few seasons.

Thoughts?

Thanks for this!!!

Been waiting for a deal on a pressure washer since my old one is leaking and too expensive/not worth fixing. Picked up the 3300 PSI Ryobi with Honda Engine and they give you a FREE foam blaster and 14" surface cleaner. $271 shipped for all with tax. Home Depot is at least $500 for just the pressure washer!

Grabbing an edger attachment for my lawn. Just spent $50 on an off-brand one at Lowe's that's borderline unusable because of an unremovable guard they put that assumes you're edging off a sidewalk. Even with $15 shipping it's 30% cheaper than Home Depot.

When I added the pressure washer to my cart, it automatically added the foam cannon and surface cleaner.

Honestly I didn't even know that was part of the deal. I was just planning on the pressure washer so it was just an added bonus for me.

Bonus!! No foam cannon for me, but looking forward to trying the surface cleaner in the garage. I opted for what looks like a stronger built foam cannon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WPKH...ct_details
