Lol forget to be specific... Cheaper.
I just notice that it is hit and miss on the prices vs. HD site. And then factor in return policy it starts to be become a real toss up. So it had to be a really good deal.
And many times the really good deals don't ship. 😞
True, have to watch for HD deals. HD also has deals on combo tools more often. But with LSA on "Factory Blemished" tools , I am not so worried about returns.

Thanks for this!!!

Been waiting for a deal on a pressure washer since my old one is leaking and too expensive/not worth fixing. Picked up the 3300 PSI Ryobi with Honda Engine and they give you a FREE foam blaster and 14" surface cleaner. $271 shipped for all with tax. Home Depot is at least $500 for just the pressure washer!
Sad that is how our throw away eccomony has become that it is cheaper to buy a new model than to fix the one you already own even if it is only a year or two old. 😞: (

They have a 40v mower, but it's for pickup only. Total bummer.

Well look at vehicles. Get into a minor fender bender and the part to fix it outweighs the value of the vehicle and it is considered a total loss. Insurance pays and you go buy a new car. I've seen many vehicles with non critical damage considered a total loss.

Pretty sure the 40v is actually 36V. There are a couple of 3D printed adapters you can buy if you Google ryobi 18v to 40v adapter.
It's kind of the other way around. An 18V Lithium is really 20V. 18V comes from the legacy NiCd days. I believe they didn't change it to 20V with Lithium avoid confusion in compatibility. 15x 1.2V NiCd cells in series is 18V. When they added Lithium batteries to the line, it became 5x 4V cells in series per group. Operational range of lithium is 4V to 3.6V (20v to 18V). All the 18V tools ran better and longer with the 10% higher initial voltage, current capability, and better discharge characteristics of Lithium. Craftsman and others had their 20V line of Lithium tools that never had a NiCd battery in the line up and exploited the difference. So 2x 18V Lithium batteries (5 cells per group) wired in series is the same as 1x 40V battery (10 cells per group).

The 40V line specs in Wh instead of Ah. Wh is Ah x V. So 2x 18V 4Ah Lithium batteries is really 160Wh and has significantly more capacity than their 40V 93.6Wh battery. 18V 4Ah contains 10 cells (2 parallel groups of 5 in series), the 40V 93.6Wh contains 20 cells (2 parallel groups of 10 in series).

I'd rather see Dual 18V tools than 40V battery pack tools. If a 18V battery fails it's 1 of 2 vs. loosing the whole 40V pack. The BMS will shut down the battery pack if just 1 cell doesn't operate properly. Ryobi could also design tools for 2x 18V and they could be wired as series or parallel based on the tools power needs (i.e. as an 18V 8Ah or a 40V 4Ah battery).

This deals seems a little racist lol
For Americans? I mean, it's mostly white people that use cinco de mayo as another excuse to get shit-faced drunk. Let's be real.

Is 600 psi powerful enough to effectively clean with ease and a timely manner? Grouts? I want to spend just 1 minute cleaning a bathroom flooring gout. Possible? Suggestions?

They need to improve their inventory, stuff I saw a few days ago is out of stock already.

Picked up shopvac and led light. Hopefully shopvac ships, suck if I pay $15 to ship a $10 light Smilie

BTW, 40% + 10% off does NOT equal 50% off! If equals 46% off.

when ryobi first started to make tools with more power, they made them capable of using two 18v batteries--i know that a little less power than a 40 v but, i have a ton of 18v batteries so it was great--now they want me to go out and buy the more expensive 40v--what happened to 1 battery fits all
Just a bit of info 40 volt batteries and 36v ones are the same thing (so 18v and 20v are too). The cells inside run a nominal (middle) voltage of 3.6v each so if you have 5 of them in series you get 18v (3.6x5=18v). They also charge up to 4.2v at the top end. So the same 5 in series gives you 21v at the max. So when they say 18 or 20v they are the same exact thing.

Thanks! I went for the "4 tool" combo set (drill/ driver, circular saw, light, and 1.5/4.0 batteries). They also have the 5.25 circular saw for $25 alone, but I wanted the driver and the batteries. Don't know when I'll use the light.
