Actually, you're paying $71.75 but getting $85 worth of gift cards. You're getting the $75 for $71.75, and then the $10 Target gift card on top of that.
You're definitely right

When online, I don't see a $75 gift card option, only 25, 50, 100, 150...
Combine a $50 with a $25 and it will give you the Target gift card. You can mix and match, so like $50 to Xbox, and $25 to the Cheesecake Factory, if you want (or the other places the cards include).

If you have Amex, check to see if you have this $10 back on $200 Amex GC offer. You can save more buy getting that first, then use the Amex GC to buy these GCs.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Purchased 3x sets of $75 gift cards. All 3x delivered within 5 minutes. 3x $10 bonus target GC received. I don't think there's a limit on number of times you can do this deal

If you in NJ, shoprite has similar deal - $10 shopping coupon (use next week) on $50 gift card many times a year. Eligible gift cards do change. I use it all the times for macys, all in one cards, dominos, home depot, ulta, and many others.
% wise better, but not as convenient as this deal.

Did Target take away our ability to combine GCs? I don't see the option anymore.

One can still use multiple Target gift cards on orders right?

Yea, but combine offers a security benefit in that I know my main card is not compromised. So, when I get a new card, I immediately combine it to my main card just in case a new card is either compromised or deactivated for some reason.

Yeah, they've also screwed up online returns recently. I had a package that was never delivered, and when I filled out the online form to say that my package was missing, it sent me a label to mail my missing package back for my refund. Then I talked to a woman on the phone who begrudgingly gave me my money back, but told me that future returns had to be done in store. Even though last year, Target was letting people get refunds, and even keep items that they didn't want, instead of making you return them, especially if the items were under $20. But, I guess too many people exploited that policy.
